MTNL Mumbai Cuts 3G Tariffs; 1 GB 3G Data Plans Now Start Rs. 76

Finally here is a great news for MTNL 3G customers in Mumbai, India’s first 3G Mobile Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today slashes 3G Tariffs and also launched of 3 new 3G Data Plans starting from just Rs. 76 for its subscribers in Mumbai circle.

With the new price reduction for 3G rates, Now postpaid and prepaid 3G data subscribers will get 300 MB free 3G data usage for Rs. 99 while 1.1 GB 3G data will be available for Rs. 250 per month/30 days, 2.2 GB of 3G data for Rs. 450 per month.

Apart from the revision of Monthly 3G Data Plans, MTNL also introduces 3 New Plans for Rs. 76, Rs.126 and Rs. 650 offering 1 GB 3G Data for 7Days, 1GB 3G Data for 15 Days and 3.3 GB 3G Data for 30 days respectively for prepaid customers in Mumbai customers.

The revised and new plans will be available for all prepaid or postpaid customers from 1st June, 2012 in Mumbai circle and can be used while National Roaming in all circles across India without any extra data charge.

The all anove plans will be available only via On-line Recharge or E-topup at MTNL CSC and retailers across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan -Dombivali. Beyond Free usage, 3G Data charges will be 2p/10KB.

MTNL also offering True Unlimited Monthly Plan for Rs. 1650, and Rs. 2500 Unlimited 3G Usage valid for 60 days. While low cost 3G Data Pack for Rs. 1190 offers 3G Data usage up to 9 GB valid for 90 Days and (3 months) and 15 GB 3G Data for Rs. 1200 valid for 30 days from the date of recharge or activation.

BSNL Cuts 3G Tariffs; 1 GB 3G Data Plans Now Starts at Rs. 151

Finally here is a great news for BSNL 3G customers , India’s first 3G Mobile Service provider BSNL is all set to slash its 3G tariff starting 01.06.2012.

Starting 1st of next month BSNL will offer new 3G Plan which is competitive BSNL new 3G plans are as below.

1GB will now be available  in Rs. 151 which will have validity for  7 days, 1.25 GB in 250 and 2.5 GB in 450 for 30 days.

The revised and new plans will be available for all prepaid and postpaid customers from 1st June, 2012 and can be used while National Roaming in all circles across India without any extra data charge.

The existing STV of Rs. 10 and Rs. 200 will be withdrawn starting Just 1st along with that the additional usage charged beyond free data usage list for 2G and 3G prepaid data plan STV data usage charges for prepaid voice plans has been revised from 04p/10k to 02p/10kb.

Exclusive : Loop Mobile Launches Talk-Time Transfer Service

Mumbai’s oldest GSM mobile service operator Loop Mobile (formerly BPL Mobile) announced the launch of Prepaid Balance – ‘Talk-time Transfer” service for its customers.

Now Loop Mobile prepaid customers in Mumbai can transfer talk time or prepaid balance via SMS over short code 50105 or by dialing USSD code *105#, to their family & friends with ease. Also when customers balance is low, he/she can ask his/her Loop Mobile friends or family to transfer talk time to their mobile.

Balance or Talk-Time Transfer Service is a very convenient option for customers especially while they are on roaming, or on public holidays or on weekends or during monsoons when shops close earlier than usual.

The Balance / Talk-Time Transfer Facility is available within the Mumbai circle as well as while National Roaming and one can ask or transfer talk time maximum 10 times in a day and charges of Rs. 3 per transaction will be applicable for Donor.

Talk time transfer is applicable amongst Prepaid Loop subscribers only. Only Subscribers who have completed more than 3 months in the network are eligible The same would be applicable on Roaming as well i.e. if the recipient customer is on roaming and needs balance while on roaming, he could take the same from the donor who is at home. Balance Transfer should be possible also when both donor and recipient customers are on Roaming. The recipient will get talk time value equal to the amount transferred. For e.g. – A donor Mr X transfers an amount of Rs. 20 to recipient Mr Y. Mr Y would get talk time equal to Rs. 20 and an amount of (Rs.20 (MRP) + Rs. 3 (Transaction Fee) = Rs. 23) would be deducted from donor Mr. X’s balance. Maximum transactions allowed in a day/subscriber are 10. Only core talk time can be transferred. The customer can transfer an amount of Rs. 10/Rs 20/Rs 30 /Rs.50 and a flattransaction fee of Rs. 3 is charged on the donor. P2P balance transfer will be available on SMS and USSD. Donor should have a minimum of Rs. 13 in the core account to be eligible for transfer. Retailers are not eligible for talk time transfer
