I believe in love and have faith in it: Shahid Kapoor

I believe in love and have faith in it: Shahid
Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor, who will be next seen in Kunal Kohli's love saga 'Teri Meri Kahani' has been linked to numerous Bollywood actresses including his co-star Priyanka Chopra, after his break-up with Kareena Kapoor.
But the actor feels that it is difficult to find a love story in real life. "Obviously I believe in love and have faith in it. I think love is the most beautiful thing in the world..it makes the world go round. I think everybody is eventually looking for love..but it is difficult to find one complete love story in real," Shahid told reporters.

"Through this film may be this is our way of escaping from reality and trying to show three different love stories and believing in romance. I think the most exciting thing in this movie is that there are three different love stories in it spread across three different generations. It is exciting to see how the journey of two lovers unfolds in three time spans - 1910, 1960 and 2012," he said.

The 31-year-old star was dating Kareena when they started filming for Ken Ghosh's 2004 filmFida. They were going steady until they separated during the making of Jab We Met in 2007.
Another strong buzz was about his alleged relationship with Priyanka Chopra. They met on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey and had hit it off instantly. Their sizzling chemistry on reel was quite opposite to their on-an-off relationship, which seemed volatile.
Shahid was also linked to Vidya Balan during Kismet Connection. Whether this hook-up was for real or just a gimmick is not yet known. This was followed by alleged affairs with tennis sensation Sania Mirza Bipasha Basu, Anushka Sharma and the latest being Nargis Fakhri ofRockstar fame.
The only relationship that Shahid was quite open about was with Kareena.

Shahid Kapoor saves ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra's life

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who had a break-up with boyfriend cum co-actor Shahid Kapoor, finally realises the worth of true love. In a recent life-risking incident, Shahid proved to be Priyanka's true, real life hero after he saved his ex-flame from getting mobbed.

It all happened when Shahid and Priyanka were shooting for Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani in Aurangabad. A source informed NDTV that there were about a crowd of 8,000 to 10,000 people on the sets.

“On the day we shot at Daulatabad Fort, over 30,000 people bought tickets to visit the place. On the last day we were shooting at the lake, which was surrounded by hills. Two of those were completely filled with people. It was madness. Some people tried to get too close to Priyanka and that's when Shahid came forward and took her aside,” the source said.

However Kunal denies that a near-stampede took place, "No, that's not true. There were no untoward incidents. Fortunately, we had the support of the local police and we had our own security. We definitely had to tighten the security to manage the crowds."
